Philippe is a Belgian citizen with an Economics graduate from Mons University and over 40 years’ experience in the banking industry. This experience has been gained in several countries including Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Monaco. He was a Board member of one of the largest banks in Luxembourg, BIL, where he set up a new private banking model before joining Dexia as CEO of their Swiss bank. He subsequently served as CEO and Chairman for several other well-known financial institutions in Paris and Luxembourg.

For the last few years, he has served on a voluntary basis for a major foundation in Luxembourg as well as acting as Advisor and Non-Executive Director for a certain number of wealth and asset management companies in the region. He has also successfully concluded a certain number of corporate finance and real estate transactions.

Whilst Philippe does not have a lot of spare time, he does enjoy playing golf as often as possible and also acts as Chairman of MCEI (Marketing Communication Executive Internat) in Luxembourg.
